Bio: I am currently a Ph.D. candidate studying under David Hibbett at Clark University. I received a Masters degree in fungal systematics from Dr. Dennis Desjardin at San Francisco State University in 2002, and joined the Hibbett lab the same year.

Research interests: My Masters thesis involved monographic and phylogenetic studies of the genus Gymnopus from Indonesia and related white-spored agarics. My Ph.D. project focuses on the evolution and ecology of the genus Calostoma. I am also interested in the many new molecular techniques to study fungal ecology.
