I am a sixth year graduate student in physics studying under Prof Muhkopadhyay at Clark University. My current research involves vesicle morphology and the effects cause by protein inclusions and multi-component membranes. Other interests lie in the field of astrophysics and quantum mechanics.

Racing sailboats has been a pastime of mine for many years. I currently race laser 2's, I14's, and an a ICanoe. This winter I will be rebuilding a 505 for regatta point community sailing.

I am also am avid Tai Chi / Kung fu fan. I have been studying Tai Chi going on six years, and this december will hopefully be testing for my black sash in the Hua Quan style of Kung fu, where I am currently a coach.

When i can find the time, i enjoy dabbling in the musical arts. I have a steady gig once a month at Gallaghers pub in Worcester MA, and have been playing out with my brothers for a few years. When playing out I mainly sing and play guitar, though when playing with other bands I play everything from the irish accordion, bodhran, tin whistle, to the kazoo.
